The Academy of Art University at NY Fashion Week – 21st Time Participating

The School of Fashion at the Academy of Art University participated in New York Fashion Week for the twenty-first time. Hailun Zhour, a student from Qing Dao, China designed a futuristic two piece outfit consisting of a silver, baggy top and shiny blue pants. The model wore bright, white sandals as well. She also created a dress, cover-all combination with the same materials as the previously mentioned outfit. Instead of a multi-color scheme, Zhour went with a single shade of light purple. Both items were modeled by a female.

Cana Klebanoff from Queens, New York designed a very primitive, almost Native-American style shirt. The shirt was loosely woven brown fabric meant to lay over the chest and arms.

The Academy of Art University is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It is also a member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. Several of their more niche degrees are also accredited by as well. Overall, the school offers degrees in nearly 25 subjects, and some are even offered online.
